I'm a little underwhelmed with it as far as size and edge retention (dulled it in one day of retail work), but it was dirt cheap, hones quickly on a strop, and will make an excellent backup knife. I don't think the 4116 is going to hold up how I want it to for utility work, but I'll like it fine as a sort of boot knife / backup / less terrifying alternative to my incoming CRKT Sakimori.

I do wish they would upgrade the steel in the Spike line, maybe crank out an XL (5.5" Bowie in BD1 kthx), and bring back the Pro Guard. I was exceptionally lucky to grab a PG in very good used condition for $20, but others are out of luck for plain-edge point guards...

Love it. Your initials look more artistic than usual. They look cool, like they belong, more like a signature on a work of art. Aesthetically difficult to explain really. Did you use a different technique. Whatever it is, I encourage you to keep it up. :)
 
Burnin that midnight oil with a couple of friends. With two little ones running us ragged, this is about the only time I can catch up on reports, heh heh. Thank goodness for insomnia since I was 5 ;)
