I love German Shepherds Joe, beautiful dogs you got there, they are the smartest, most loyal dogs I've ever had, both of mine lived to 16 and 14 years respectively one my dad won in a poker game and I had put her down in the 80s after 16 years as my drinkin' buddy, the other another female that rang in at 128 lbs got a brain inflammation at 14, she was barely able to hold herself up when went out, she was smart enough to go down to the stream to poop where she could float without straining her hips and legs. She eventually got so bad that we had to put her down too. RIP Bandit and Shauna.

Know what else I miss, Delta Z knives, here's a Delta Z 360 PIVOT...

Thank you Ted!! To say the Shepherd is smart is truly an understatement my friend!!
He taught himself how to ride a skateboard in 5 minutes flat!! He actually house broke himself by 4 months old!
It's so funny to watch him teach the Malamute!!!
Extremely loyal and naturally protective. And the best thing is having both of them brother!! They make our house a home!!
Joe

the german shepherds are beautiful but they're not mine. thank you though.

I was talkin' to Joe from Jersey, I'm curious, why would you think I was talkin' to you, you've made no posts about a German Shepherds in any of your 6 or so posts other than this one right here. So why did you think I was talikin' to you? Do you have any Shepherds? Have you made mention of them in this thread somewhere that I missed like "Hi I'm Don Joe and the dogs in the pic above Ted's post are not mine.

So tell us a little about yourself DJ, what brings you to BF? Where do you hail from? What kind of knives do you like? I'm curious, you came to a knife pics only thread and of all your 6+ posts you feel commenting on a thread about knife pics only by letting me know that the dog that obviously belong to someone else and I even acknowledged the OP of the reply yet you felt compelled to reply.

How about some pics only of your knives?

I apologize to the OP and the mods for my reply, I just felt a little weirded out about Don Joe's unusual and outta left field reply. I won't say anything else here and if the mods want me to edit my comments out let me know and I'll adjust.

So in the OP's original request here's some more Knives only...

Joe

My first one was won by my old Man where he parked his 18 wheeler, the guys in the garage across the lot kept the puppy chained to car in the middle of their lot with no place to get out of the weather. The old man was determined to get the dog before the long hot Labor day holiday weekend started so he took a chance and got em drunk on a Friday afternoon then talked them into a game of cards while they waited for the holiday shore traffic to die down. He played ' em both till they had nothin' left to bet to see the Old man's hand so he had 'em bet the dog. They lost and my mom was so pissed when we got home, the Old Man was a little buzzed and he had this scroungy, emaciated German Shepherd puppy that mom/I had to take care of, the Old Man died in a plane crash a few months later.

The dog became my best friend after that, I even taught her to carry a six pack of beer for me. I'd pull the 2 center bottles out and drink our beer and walk about, when we finished we say, "Bandit go get the beer... Then she's go back to where we left the six pack, grab it in her mouth and carry it back to us. It took about 2 cases of beer before she stopped shakin' the six pack. As anyone with German Shepherd's know, they grab whatever they are told to get and their natural instinct is to grab and shake. Yeah it took a few cases but was well worth it when she finally got it. :)

Here's the Knives he had on the plane with him when it crashed...(except the Swayback Jack, that's current issue. ;)
