The last two photos had someone mention the "Predator" movie camo... Too scratchprone, so the knife was changed to a satin finish later on...

Love this sexy bitch!!
Joe

I remember our first communication was about the Sukhoi, Joe, with you looking to help me find one. Later we were on the same thread about the lack of any edge at all on the knife. I got a nice compound bevel on mine, but the lack of a beard at the plunge grind was problematic. I see you have a nice edge on yours now, too, and it looks like it's been modded a bit to provide a sharpening choil. I was gonna do that, but was nervous about grinding it out there as there's so little margin for the blade stop.

The knife is cool and there's a lot to like, but I never saw myself carrying it. I ended up selling it and putting the money toward a Shiro.

I wish you would've seen how they let that knife out Steve. They never ground an edge on the blade!
Josh couldn't believe it either! I bought it from KC during the sale. Sent it back and they told me it shaved the hair off their arms. Crock.
I'll tell you though......that thing will slice as good as anything now!! Josh does a great job!
Don't carry it much......just dress up days!!

I remember your post, Joe. It's one thing if a dealer sells you a knife that's lacking, but for them to BS you like that is just, well, BS.

Mine came from a seller on the big auction site. The knife was legit and I'd read enough to know it wasn't the sellers's fault, so I just put my own edge on it. The bevel, such as it was, didn't even come to an apex. Early in my years in the trade I worked for a couple of old boys up in Vermont. Mickey would pick up one of your cutting tools and say, " Better be careful with that--could give yourself a terrible bruise." First thing I thought of when I saw that so-called edge.

My latest addition. Set the edge yesterday and had it in the garden today. Christian
