Iv been considering the 0452cf as well. Very light for a 4" ti frame folder (think it might actually be the lightest). I almost got the 0452CFM390BLU. But ended up jumping into fixed blades instead. Bet it would be a perfect fit for my clown hands :D
Sweet pooch as well :D

Man, I almost jumped on a purple ludt as well lol Only thing is since Im in a non-auto state Id of had to send it to my parents house and never get to see it unless I moved to a friendly state :(

Still considering it though. If its still around when I have the excess funds I just might have to do that :D

Thanks my friend!! He is absolutely awesome!!! Ton of fun!! We also have a German Shepherd......and they are wonderful together!!!

I would recommend the 462 CF with no hesitation whatsoever!! Amazing knife in every regard if you are cool with a 4" blade. Amazing action, perfect lock up, great materials and very comfortable in hand!!
Got mine from Scott at USAmadeblade and he anodized it for no charge!

I would not recommend the LUDT though.....at all. Very nice looking knife, but not too comfy in hand and both of mine, bought brand new from Blade HQ, broke springs within the first month. It was NOT fun dealing with MT's customer service brother!!
If you're interested in a great 3 1/2" auto that's tough as nails, extremely comfortable in hand, mine are between large and x large, fires hard and locks up tight from a company with excellent customer service, they actually answer the phone, go with a Pro Tech TR-3!!
I have 2 and they are fantastic!

The 0452cf is a difficult buy now because Im not sure if it will/can replace my lg inkosi cf paired with the 4.7" fixed 3v I edc.

I appreciate the advice. I think it might of been you and/or SoCalEDC that had me against the microtech because of the springs breaking rather quickly. I know hes a protech fan as well. The only auto I carried was a 2550 for a little over half a year while in TX and loved that little knife. My father carries it now.

That TR-3 looks awesome and comfortable. I think you just pushed it to the top of my auto list. Any experience with the newport? Been eyeing a few of those as well.

Yup!! Newport is smaller, but shares all the same great attributes!! Cool looking knife!!
Me & SoCal are big time proponents of Pro Tech autos!!

It's not only the springs breaking quickly......it's a few things. The damn proprietary hardware and the horrific customer service killed the brand for me.

Love the Newport!! Little smaller and slimmer, but shares all the great attribute of it's bigger brother!!
