New favorite fixed. Hand-forged Murray Carter Muteki Hitachi White Steel Core laminated with 410 Stainless and Arizona Desert Ironwood handles w/ red liners.
OAL-202mm (7.95"), Weight-204 Grams (3.66oz), Blade length-104mm (4"), Blade Thickness @ handle-3.8mm (.15)




 
^^^Murray Carter Makes some of the best fixed blades out there . The best slicer I've ever owned and there Right in my back yard . Miss my Muteki and think my next will be a Carter Custom.

What material is that? custom? never seen it before, looks cool!

That there is vintage paper micarta purchased from a vendor at a knife show in Southern California (I forget his name), then turned into a scale for a Small Sebenza Insingo by the great Steve Ketchen (BF name spketch). Here's another photo of it next to a Todd Begg Mini Glimpse fixed blade:

Ahh thats why it appears so smooth. Iv never handled paper micarta, only canvas and linen, but it looks awesome!
 
Working here today, at least for now. Well, not HERE, per se, but like 30ft up this little incline where my car is parked [emoji106] Either way it's a helluva view!
