I was commissioned by a Fresno PD detective (who carries one of my Combat/Utility on his vest) to build an upgraded version of his as a gift to a friend who will retire this year. Its a huge honor to be asked to do this for personal reasons. One of the blessings of sobriety, I guess.

Chisel ground .200" Nichols stainless damascus hardened to 60-61RC with cryo. Note the blue G10 liners, to symbolize the "thin blue line" that stands between society and chaos.

This Shadow Rail has a Bowie blade in Nichols San Mai damascus and is temper colored. The bolsters are Nichols Moku-Ti with hidden hardware and handle is black G10.

Blade length is about 3.4".
