That BK5 was sold off soon after I stripped it and the BK15 is my current kitchen cutter and makes decent curls

Thanks to @Spikediesel I ordered this knife. It's the Rat 1. I got it for around $44. It is the first time I actually laughed out loud after opening the package and getting to know a knife for the first time. Blade centering is perfect. Even grinds on both sides and shaving sharp out of the box. No blade play in any direction. Opens with a flick of the thumb with ease and gives a solid sound as it does so. Lockup is about 40-50%. And it's D2. It's a really solid knife for the price. I just can't believe this thing was only $44. If you haven't tried one, give it a shot. You might be surprised at what you get for the price.
