Just pix of knives

Very thorough response, thanks. Very interesting about the clip position too, hopefully that will get worked out. Im surprised I havnt seen more about this knife, seems like a winner.
The knife is good IMHO, I find it comfortable as the Rat 1 and for my needs the blade geometry looks like more suitable.
I tried to move the clip here and there and pushed myself for couple days to use it that way and I couldn't...

Finally last night I found a spare BM (I believe) clip, drilled wider the two holes and installed it...
I like the result, I would prefer if they had their original clip to fit that way, I like it a lot (not like BM clip isn't good...)

Here it is, ready for pocket time:

I can't speak for others, but the fact that the handle is a direct copy in shape from the Rat 1 was a turnoff. I wanted them to make a larger Zancudo, not put a somewhat Zancudo blade into a RAT 1 handle...So, I won't be buying any of the Avispas, unless they release one that has a large Zancudo handle...
I agree that Zancudo's handle is extremely comfortable. I'm not sure if you scale it up to the Avispa's size it'll provide the same level of comfort but what you're saying make sense to me.
I would like to see Rat 1 with framelock and Avispa with linerlock. It some how makes more sense to me to have sort of "bushcraft" oriented blade geometry as the Awispa's blade, with protected from elements lock...
I know how the Rat 1 is marketed, but Avispa would call for the same field of use, why they put framelock on it is mistery to me, I would not use a bare metal framelock knife out in the cold, or with greasy or wet hands...
I don't know, I like the knife I guess, it's beautifully made IMHO, worth every dollar, I only wish I could use the original clip because I like it a lot...

Matt Diskin Fire. Amazing F&F.
Lightening strike CF and Ti, Elmax blade.
The blade rides on captured bearings which makes it a very smooth manual. The presentation scale slides up for a strong full auto open.
