Just received my XM-24, I guess there's no adjusting the pivot w/o the hinderer tool?

LOL right on, honestly it's not that its uncomfortable in my hand, but I think if I was seen carrying a knife that large where I'm from (just north of Toronto) it could be an issue.

Just yesterday I went to Canada Post to ship out a couple of knives WITHIN Canada (a kershaw tilt and spyderco military) . The lady behind the desk asked me what I was sending after I had filled out all the paperwork. I told her a couple pocket knives. She looked at me like I was crazy, opened the packages and said, "we can't send these. They are weapons!" But since I was a nice guy she'll make the exception just this once. I was like ummm ok. thanks?

Wow, what is the environment like in our neighbor land to the North?

Sounds a little like California or New York. That is a bummer.

Next time, tell anyone who asks that they are tools.
It is the truth and should help avoid some nonsense.

Worth a try. Maybe TSA at the airport ....

"Excuse me Sir, What's in your bag?"

" None of your business, and further more - you're a TOOL! How do ya like them beans?"

It could work.
