Just recieved my Demko Custom American Lawman

I wonder if he could do a Ti-Framelock Ti-lite with IKBS. Not quite as useful but still would be a sick knife.

1) What's the backspacer in the rear made of? You may have mentioned it in this long thread but I've forgotten. Maybe a large standoff flow through? What do you think?

2) Any comments on the clip? I'm thinking about a tad more narrow - it might not be enough clip for the beast though. :)
 
I should be expecting mine by the end of August. It will blow minds. Andrew should have my blade back from HT by now.

Its proper name would be a Navijah but it is a variation on the Med Espada but elongated. The blade is .200" CPM154 with 4.5" of cutting edge. It will have the wave opener like its bigger brothers. Think subhilt for the trigger finger groove. The handles will be integral bolster Ti with black G10 scales. Pocket clip mounted L/R tip up leaving 1.5" of butt exposed (LOL) so I can get a decent grip for wave drawing. Lanyard hole.

The backspacer is G10 on mine.

What's the difference in a Ti backspacer compared to G-10 - money, cool factor, weight, toughness or nothing? :confused:

I'm trying to imagine the back of the handle with a sturdy stand off in the back. It probably wouldn't look right due to being a lock-back. :confused:

Charlie Mike - sounds too cool dude. Post up asap when you get it - give us a table top (first impressions at least) :)

You can get a narrower clip.... tapered actually. It's Ti so it bites like a bear trap.

I just emailed Andrew regarding a custom Black Rhino,cpm154cm blade and titanium frame (both stonewashed) and desert ironwood inlays. Should be a sick blade.

Wow! I thought the dimensions would be much more similar. Your Demko custom makes the "overbuilt" AL look like a mini lawman.
