Hawaii. I'm not complaining that Spyderco is trying to gouge me on shipping, just that UPS/FedEx's starting rate for shipping to HI is pretty steep at around $15 compared to USPS's $2 (and possibly less). I generally don't buy things from places which only ship UPS/FedEx for this exact reason.

If that's the only thing you ordered, they'll just mail it USPS 1st class and refund $6.05 to your card.

I called the SFO yesterday and ordered one because the website showed they were out of stock. They took my card # and gave me a confirmation # so I assume they have them.

The website does not reflect actual physical inventory. They have to load the web inventory manually.

They worked out the shipping price on Mon. It's only $1.95 if you're in the con-us. They refund you the rest.

Just received mine today. Since Sal is looking for feedback here is mine.
-Good tool to check the angle for the knife nuts here (me included) that is in a good price range.
-Easy to carry.
-Not difficult to use. (Could include, How To Use, with paperwork for those who might not be sure)
-Recommend for anyone who sharpens their own knives.
-Will help you get in the ball park as to where to set your angle for each knife before sharpening.
These are just some of my views and am pleased with the purchase. I hope Spyderco goes into production on this item.
