It’s just the tip of the iceberg. This guy has been a scammer for DECADES.

In 2017, a Bladeforums knifemaker and all around good guy named Brian Evans had a design for a nice little EDC, and commissioned Bark River to build it for him. You can read about how that went here.

Brian was hardly an isolated incident.

There are people in this thread asking why things like this weren’t being discussed. They WERE being discussed.

Matthew, I can go pull posts from the last 9 years of me telling people about what Mike did to Brian, I was half tempted to tag with an @ to this thread, some of the voracious defenders of brk who defended him. My wife and I really liked our companions from Brian and what Mike did was abhorrent and disgusting.

It's only 1 example of Mike being Mike, how does he get a pass from dealers and customers? He's a straight conman. I literally watched him wreck Brian's company, and people still bought brk. That's the problem, people support scum bags no matter what, including dealers in my opinion. No one can tell me the dealers were oblivious who they supported.

Maybe if Mike went out of business like he should have, instead of getting the can kicked down the road by dealers getting him steel, Brian would still be into knives, and this entire fiasco would not have happened.

People are apathetic.

No. It’s a brand that only stocks a few models in O1 steel. They rarely do drops for themselves or other retailers, and even less often for their own club. I often see people praising LT Wright, but it’s hard to form an opinion when you literally have to hunt their knives down just to get something you actually like, rather than just settling for whatever is in stock.

True lol but when I came back from deployment and got briefed on the status of the cartels, you wouldn't believe what these "people" were doing. Juarez was at the time the murder capital of the world, I can't divulge what was said, but trust me, risk of being killed near Juarez vs homestead? Different world. And I'm born and raised in broward county florida.

Chicos tacos after leaving the bars and clubs with the homies before heading back to fort bliss 🤣 priceless.

All of this knife and honor talk isn’t even relevant to what’s punching us all in the face, and very few of you have recognized it, if at all. We have read and seen supposed conversations and accusations on here of possibly real texts etc in this thread that indicate these shitbags were grooming and sexually manipulating people. How the fuck does one talk about a knife’s value or the market value without that being important!! Priorities vary I guess. I’ll gladly show myself out. This is billshit.

It's a knife forum and I don't know if the mods would allow us to go to far off the rails on sexually explicit things in general knife discussion, but agreed criminal investigations should be had. A few pages ago we commented how we felt about it, maybe you missed it but AntDog AntDog posted my exact feelings.

My understanding is that at least DLT will nothing to do with Jim or anything associated with the Stewarts going forward ... they got burnt bad. Frankly, Jim is delusional if he thinks this has any chance of revenue.
 
As an outside observer fascinating saga. And I thought collecting Rolex was difficult with 98% indistinguishable ChiComm replicas out there. Is this a record (20 year grift) for a grifter, let alone a knife grifter?

I have bought knives from makers that have different morals from me but at least the steels are real.

Jason is sending us a batch of knives to check with our Niton (XRF) gun. It takes about 6–10 seconds per blank to get a reading. DLT has been a great customer, so we’re not planning to charge for this unless the volume gets into the thousands and requires formal documentation. A simple pass/fail check will be straightforward and also gives our operators a good opportunity to get more hands-on time with the unit.
 
After hearing about their sicko ways with underage kids I could give a crap less about the millions the stole.

Those scum need to be held accountable for their disgusting actions. Anyone defending or supporting them please block me. I want nothing to do with you either.
