Thanks, Man. You talking about the one I recently sold...or the one in my "Smooth" vid? Just picked up another slick & beautiful 95T recently too. Dude, haven't seen YOU around here for a while. You been slumming on USN?! (joke) -- Interestingly, I've had over a dozen Shiros in my collection and have physically handled dozens. The one cf F3 in the "Smooth" video is THE smoothest Shiro I've ever handled, including the few Custom Divisions I've handled. That one is something special. And as a mid tech, I don't know why it would be so much better than the average great Shiro, but it is. I can't imagine ever parting with that one. It's just one of those things you have to feel and compare side by side. -- You still loving the A2A3 with orange G10 inlays you recently scored? Hope so. She's a beauty. If you get bored & want to trade, let me know. Andre Van Heerden followed through and made & me a new pocket clip for one of my A2A3's that had scratches on it's original clip. It was the one I actually carried once in a while because it wasn't 100% perfect. Now it's just about perfect again...so I don't know WHAT to do with it...carry it and potentially make it potentially imperfect again? Good God, no!?! Hmmm, 1st world problems I guess.Congrats on the F3 Scrim!!
I love this idea man! Would be great to get together and show each other our knives and gear, maybe make a deal or two in the processTo all the local, SF Valley (and surrounding area) knife nuts. Maybe...someday...a local, knife-nut meeting needs to take place, for show & tell, buying, selling, trading purposes?...and just for fun. Just tossing the concept out there.

Right on Chad! Good call on Sako and Tamar....they could be into it.Wow..you beat me to it! I was thinking of suggesting the same thing. I'm down.
So far in just this thread there's:
Landshark99
Scrim
Poolhustler
tknife
hookahabib
& myself we've identified as "Valley guys" (not a big fan of that title...just sayin').
If you guys are down for knife meeting, we should start a new thread calling all SVF knife nuts and see how many we come up with. We can coordinate a meeting through that thread as well.
Sako at Recon 1 might see a meeting like this as something he wants to participate in as well (business aside, he and Tamar are SFV knife nuts too). If we get enough people interested I would be happy to help coordinate a time and place.
Let me know what you think..
Chad
Good call on Sagebrush Cantina...that's a great place to hang out. Between that and potentially Recon1, I'd say we have some good options.I plan to visit Sako and Tamar on Thursday or Friday when I pick up my ZT0392. I will see if they'd be interested while I'm there.
As for a location, if the west side of the valley works for everyone??, I would suggest the Sagebrush Cantina (mon-thurs when it's not busy). We can reserve an outdoor area with a bunch of tables to ourselves. The atmosphere is laid-back...sawdust on the floors...chips and salsa, beer, music, food if we want it. I think it could work..
We have no decent knife shops in Fresno, CA.
