I just received my new JK Practical Field Knife. Wow!
To coin an often over-used term, "The pictures do not do it justice". It is just a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.

The handle feels great in my palm. I do not expect the lightening holes to be a bother and I really like the weight reduction. The blade is hair popping sharp.

This my first custom made knife and I am very happy to have chosen Justin's work. I took me a few minutes to figure out how the Tek-Lok operated. I had never used this mounting system before. Isn't You-Tube wonderful?
When I have some time I will have to give Justin's pre-tensioned QD clip a try. I'm just not sure I can get use to wearing the sheath/knife inside my waist band.

Although I found out about Justin and his custom blades from his offering at the attached link here on bladeforums, my knife is slightly different from the one pictured.

Specs on my JK Practical Field Knife:
8.75” OAL
4.125” blade, .170” thick cpm3v, flat ground
Blue/Black G10 scales with black G10 spacer/liner
Black Concealex sheath with large Tek-Lok. It also came with Justin's pre-tensioned QD clip to match the sheath. This clip works for IWB carry and offers other carry options as well.
Knife weight: 5.8 oz
Knife plus Sheath weight: 9.3 oz. w/ Tek-Lok attachment
Cost: $205 + shipping/ins

Justin took the time and patience to answer all my question. Shipping was extremely fast. If you are looking for an edc for outdoor/back-country use be sure to give Justin's knives a look!
