K20 heat treat is working

Now that the heat treat was successful, does that mean there will be another pre-order this year for the K20? Asking for a friend

I think the number of K20s spoken for in the pre-order thread, was about 3 times the actual number available.

IIRC, Nathan did say something along the lines of 150, and limiting the pre-order to 100 just in case of any problems that might affect the yield.

If he does wind up with more than 100, I'm not sure if the other people on the list get first dibs on the 'extras', or if they'll be offered on sales, but I think the list had easily over 200+ - 300 (counting all the "in for 2"s) by the time it was closed.

But there's no concrete determination (that I'm aware of) of what happens to 101 and up, if they get over 100 (or all 145) swords made.
