K5 Tactical Tomahawks

I see it, I like it, and I want it! What payment methods do you accept?

Thank you! :)

I will pass on my experience when I get the merchandise.

Be well

Nope! And it is driving me NUTS. This week I am told. I think I can make it. I just feel really bad for all the little naked tomahawks, waiting for their sheaths on my shipping bench.

Eddie

Thanks for being patient. You are all doing a far better job at it than I.

Just wanted to say that these look like very nice 'hawks and both the price and the specs are right. Might get one some day.

Thanks for the complement, Quiet Storm

I am shipping one to Austria, so do not make that your excuse :)

has anyone received on of these without the sheath? Anyone had a chance to try one out? I'm trying to feel patient . . . . .

Below are quick reviews I have recieved from two out of three that went without sheaths. The third has not reviewed.

Eddie,

Thanks Eddie.
I worked the Hawk out last night. Great balance and a real chopper. Comes alive in my hand and feels real good.

I hope this helps a little,

Eddie

The sheaths have arrived!!!!

All orders are boxed and will start there trips to their owners in the morning.

I look forward to your reviews. :D

Make it a great day,

Eddie

I got mine - I received the wrong one, I got the spike hawk but I ordered the tactical hammer poll. Haven't decided whether to exchange this one yet. It's pretty heavy for a hawk, it feels less like a weapon and more like something you'd use to tear down a building. Sturdy!!!! But not super-quick in the hand unless you've got popeye forearms, or perhaps are very practiced.

The edges are not sharpened, although that shouldn't be hard to do using sandpaper - not looking for shaving sharp on this tool, it would be too dangerous to the user I think, esp. with that incredibly wicked tanto spike! A few chops on/into a 2x4 show how devastating this beast can be.

The handle offers very good retention, I was surprised at how it is perfectly grippy without being abrasive, and it doesn't feel like aluminum really. I think I would prefer the hawk to be a little lighter, maybe via more holes in the handle? And instead of the handle end coming to a point, making that end a modified pry-bar.

Overall this thing is an indestructible brute, so if that's what you need then this is an absolutely terrific value! And the sheaths are indeed excellent; well-made, strong & versatile. Overall these hawks appear to totally deliver as advertised, for an excellent price.

Fishface5-
I am sooooo sorry. I got in such a hurry to get these things out to all of you.

I blew it! :grumpy:

I will ship you a TH-HP as soon as they arrive back from UPS. (I had to UPS them back to myself from a conference) A call tag slip for freight to return the TH-S will be included.

I guess my hands were to fast for my brain. I am sorry.

This is not the place to be selling and you are not being fair to the makers and companies who support this site. Please stop!

Before you put your finger in a man`s eye, how about extending your hand and offer a little help. I imagine 4700 posts ago the rules etc. were not fixed in your mind like today.

Be well
Floyd

Give Bastid a break, He is right. He and I talked via e-mail.

The last thing I wanted to do is cause a problem. It was not my intention to spam. I only answered questions as they came up by members. That is why these posts have only been edited and not removed.

As soon as funds are available I will be subscribing as a Maker.(which has been my intention) Until then as Bastid and the moderators know, I have donated product for the pass-arounds to be given to the members at the end as a lotto.

At this time, this type of support is all I can do, but that will change as the Hawks become more popular. I enjoy this group and spend way to much time here (so says my wife) I look forward to being able to provide support finacially as well.
