Some got released to sellers, then the person buying a 16 got lucky, usually unbeknownst to them. They thought they were getting a ffg, only to luck out on a saber.

That makes sense. No such luck here. I wonder how many are out there. Doesn't seem like many. I've personally never seen one.

FFG may be slicier, but personally, I think the saber would have sold better.

I really like how the BK16 Sabre is a BK2 mini version. Not so much the case of the BK16 ffg. Both are great knives either way but aesthetically I definitely prefer the Sabre grind. I like it so much that the trigger finger on my phone got the best of me and now my BK2 is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Sabre grind 16 is one of the few Becker’s I don’t have.

The saber grinds seem to slice just fine if sharp and So does the flat. But I’ve noticed that what you’re slicing starts to fall away from the blade sooner With the Saber than with a Flat grind where the slice stays on the blade .
Oh yea, the Saber definitely Wins in the looks department as well.

Yeah, a saber BK16 is definitely on my things to get list.
It looks amazing and If the 17's performance is an indicator, also cuts really well.
I'd really would like the saber 16 coming back.. nudge nugde

Id like to get a bk16 but if i get one then that will reduce the justification of getting a saber 16. Though the desire for the saber 16 is really based mostly on looks since i understand the ffg 16 is superior for most all tasks.

I understand what your saying. I bought my new Bk16 first, then i later found out about the saber grind. So I just had to have it.

They are both very nice Not sure about one being superior over the other as far as use you might get a nicer looking tomato slice with the flat but how much nicer, MEH! I think ether one will get it done just fine. If they are sharp they both work well
