Oh, I had it way wrong.
I like the looks and design of that Outdoorsman model but 440A doesn't do anything for me steelwise. Rather have 1095CV.
Actually, I think ALCAS owns both CUTCO and KABAR.
Edit: more specifically, does ALCAS stand for something?
I think that Alcas changed its name to Cutco a while ago and Ka-bar is a subsidiary of Cutco.
From the cutco corporation web site ( http://www.cutco.com/company/history.jsp )
ALCAS was a joint venture between ALCOA and Case Cutlery started in 1948.

Umm... we're not taking a vote.
I remember that last guy that sassed a mod....funny I dont see him around much anymore
Hmmm...five days without chat.

Nope, old Goo-yon is a big teddy bear.
In other news, got a Ka-Bar bear belt buckle from Ebay for $21.00 shipped. Might be here tomorrow.
Folks are going to want to get their KA-BAR KREW numbers soon! There's a lot more Ka-Bar goodness coming down the pipe, and the next contests are going to be Krew only.
Is there a 4 in that bunch? I'd sure like a chance to win one.
I was off getting laser beamed in the eyes. I can now see again. Time to start posting more!
