I would like to buy a Ka-Bar USMC knife, and I was wondering where to buy one. Does anyone know a chain of stores in the U.S. or Canada that carries it?

Just about any knife store online or walk in should carry them. It isn't a specialty item or anything. Browse through the For Sale: Dealers section for an idea. Or you can google the name of the knife and click the shopping link at the top of the results page.

Tomars is probably the best. Several other internet dealers carry them as well. Bass Pro and Cabela's both carry them too. There's always the big auction site as well.

Yeah, I know there are lots of internet dealers, but I am going on a road trip. I would order online, but it wouldn't get to me before I go. I was wondering if Ka-Bars are carried at a common chain of stores so I could buy one on my trip?

I don't know of any national chain that carries KaBars as a standard item at all stores.

But I routinely get 3-day delivery from Knifeworks.

i dont know any walk in stores, but thru the internet i trust knifeworks and tomars kabars

If you're going to pass by a Bass Pro, I know that the one in Cincinnati carries the standard size and the mid size, both with leather handles, in stock at the knife counter. I'd figure that the other Bass Pro's do too. You're going to pay for them though. Last time I checked, the standard knife was $90 there.
