KaBar TDI knife?

I've never seen anything like that!

This thread's been going on a looong time! :D Thanks for bringing it back up. I'm sitting here with my TDI riding weakside just back of my arm.

Great little backup or beater, but it only works in Eric's sheath. The original sheath isn't the worst, it's just not quite good enough for anything but storage. :(

I guess I need to look into the new, longer version, but I like this little knife. It's actually filling the niche I though the Sting would fit.

Just got the small serrated version myself. So far it has been very comfortable riding between the pants and belt, but maybe one of Eric's sheaths is needed as well.

Out of the box, it was not as sharp as my bear claw though. Anybody else have a somewhat dull one?

I have a kydex pocket sheath for mine and I carry it in my offhand pocket a lot. I had the tendon and nerves cut in my left index finger years ago, and this thing is MUCH faster and easier to deploy left handed than a folder is. Great little knife overall.

i have the slightly longer version of the TDI ( sorry i cant think of the name) and i have the ankle sheath as well. I use it on hikes and camping as my backup to my larger fixed blade. I find this knife very useful and it can take a lot of work. I accidently bent the tip slightly when i was misusing it and trying to pry a small branch with it. the bend has no effect on the blade perfomance and i plan on using it as my river guide knife this spring and summer. I'm not sure how it will hold up in wet conditions but with a little care im sure it will be fine. Great knife in the right hands
