BT 0075 here, I ordered mine the last day possible, so I know mine was on the second run.

For those that don't know, the grip area on the KACK is the same length as the 13 or Tiger. It does have more height with about +2mm where the index finger choil is to about +4mm where one wraps their pinky finger around in the forward grip. If you held a 13 or Tiger, you have a very good idea of how the KACK would fit in your hand.

Well, my order finally showed up (ordered on January 8th).

This has turned out to be a total nightmare. My original plan was to keep one for myself & give one to my son on his birthday. Since his B-Day was March 28th obviously that didn't happen.

That's not the really bad part however. The box was delivered by USPS & left in my mailbox. The box was damaged (ripped open along one side) & there was only one knife in the box!!

To make things even worse, the knife that was delivered has a badly off center blade (actually contacting the liner on one side). If that wasn't bad enough, the lockbar slides so far over when waved open that it contacts the far side liner.

I called Emerson last night & for this knife I was told to "tighten the pivot screw". I tried that but when it is tightened enough to center the blade it is so tight it is hard to open & the lockbar obviously isn't right.

As far as the damaged box/missing knife I was told they would need to make a claim with the P.O. which can take 4 weeks. They said they would keep me updated on what happens. This whole deal is leaving a bad taste in my mouth to say the least.

That sucks man! Mine arrived with some markings on the presentation side of the G10 (my pic on 3rd page) I'm not even sure what was it but it doesn't look that bad so not a big deal...I do wish it didn't come it tho. :o

Did it come in the flat rate box? Unfortunately EKI is a huge target for mail thefts, both coming and going. The refund is on USPS not EKI and it will take a month before a claim can be filed.

As far as lock up on the one you do have I agree that is unsat. EKI will make it right but for the price it should have been right from the start. Make sure you get a tracking number. Buena suerte

Yea, but why should I wait a month for the claim?? I paid for a knife that I didn't receive & the one I did receive isn't right.
