Kakbritva thoughts

Would you say the kazak is more high end then the kakbritva...
I'm still keeping the kakbritva as there is many things it can do most other systems cant

Not necessarily when it comes to accurate sharpening - they both are excellent. But when it comes to the finishing of the machining from the factory, Kazak is a bit more refined.

KakBritva makes a rugged tool that does the job incredibly well and with accuracy on par with any top system out there, but might not always look as well "finished" as a Kazak.

Which one uls you get tsprof k03 Vs kazak 100
Being in the USA, the K03 is a better choice as it has better availability and parts are easier to find.

For you, in Europe it won't matter too much. A Kazak 100 is a solid choice. I think you might even be able to get other types of clamps for it from KakBritva if you ask them. They make a lot of aftermarket clamps for other systems.

Kazak just needs to work on their own clamp options. They need a bigger selection of clamp types in my opinion.

I'll go with the kazak if I can't figure it out with grid Viva. Yes kakbritva does sell clamps for kazak. Scissors and fillets I think. I have looked into it. From pictures and videos the kazak 100 seems hard to beat on quality.

Do you use anything else besides cbn and diamond stones

For general use and sharpening any knife or tool made from any steel type, diamond and CBN will do everything you need.

Personally, I do use plenty of other stones too, but mostly for testing, experimentation and comparison of bonds and abrasives.

For my straight razors (basic high carbon steel), I prefer my Naniwa Chosera bench stones.
