Ladies and Gentlemen, I do not normally engage in fund raisers, but it has covertly came to my attention that besides the medical fund, the kami's need a little help in other areas of life, too. This usually falls on the shoulders of Mrs. Martino who takes a tiny bit from the DOTD sales and sets it aside for just this purpose. She walking down the Dharma Path usually means that it comes out of her own pocket, though. I know some could say "So, that's her business." And you would be absolutely correct because we are responsible for what we do, both good and bad. I enjoy HI's forum pages, it's inhabitants, and get a lot out of it. Hasn't cost me a dime (unless I need a shot in the arm from a bad case of HIKV), so here is my pay back time proposal:
I have one Nepalese made bayonet for the Nepalese 1878 Martini-Henry or Nepalese Gahendra "Martini-Henry" rifles. This bayonet was purchased from Atlanta Cutlery and came from the 'arms horde" in 2003. These cost $40. "Hand select" adds another $10. Shipping the way I had it shipped adds about another $16. Sum total is $66.
If you donate any money to this miscellaneous fund and send it to Mrs. Martino, send a note to Bawanna how much you sent. One dollar even is acceptable. He will in turn enter your name into a drawing, giving you one entry for each dollar donated. On March 15th, 2015, he will draw ONE entry from the hat and post the winner on the forum. I will send the winner this bayonet at my expense. If only one dollar has been donated, so be it. The entrant gets the bayonet. Here are four photos to see what is up for grabs.

[/IMG] Read it for us, Ndoghouse.
[/IMG] Socket is in good shape. Nice patina.
[/IMG] Tip is not broke off and repaired or buggered up in any way. This is one straight bayonet worthy of any collection.
