Kami's Miscellaneous Fund Raiser

We got 5 players = 160 bucks or 160 pieces of paper.

I intend to send some loot hopefully this week. I put an ad in the local paper as a gigilo, hoping I get a few gigs and some major cash from that.

Bringing this back to the top folks.

I got two more additions today. One in cash in the mail. Without mentioning names she'll be happy to know it got to me yesterday safe and sound (I did take it to the model train show and swap meet today but didn't spend a dime, honest injun, truly, really, not a dime) and I'll forward it to auntie tomorrow via Pay Pal as requested. Your generosity blew me away and I'll of course let auntie know where it came from too.

I'd made the decision that I would match the largest contributor but I'm sad to say it is not, can not happen, maybe close to half but that's about it for me now.

Next time we'll let Kamidog or somebody else keep the tabs so I can win the bayonet. Hmmmmmm????

Bawanna! Thanks, I really appreciate the really rare Lionel pre-1st model coal car you sent! It must have cost you a fortune! Special over nite delivery on Sunday must have set you back a tidy sum, too. Again, THANKS!!

Well at least we all know you don't have to take off your shoes. A real time saver right there.

Wow! you survived a trip to a Model Train show? Wow that is major temptation there. Glad you survived! Bookie! We need pictures of your train set :D Dad used to have an HO set on the back of a pingpong table I miss that layout. Best hours Dad and I spent together working on the town the train circled through.

8 folks signed up, 245 bucks total.

Anybody familiar with those computer programs that randomly select a number, this is gonna be a lot of little squares in the hat at a buck each ya know?

8 people only?! C'mon ya'll I know there are more than 8 people buying DOTDs, surely one could afford $1.00, to enter a Kami fundraiser to help those fine producers of those DOTDs.

Bookie has put up a fine Nepalese Bayonet as the prize for a raffle, and he is doing it at his expense.

The least we can do, is support this drive, even if all you can donate is a $1.00.

Joe I use this website to generate the winners in my giveaways.........

https://www.random.org

It is very simple, on the right hand side of the page is a small window with a minimum an maximum amount. So in this case your minimum is 1, maximum 245. Enter them and hit generate. It works beautifully.

Please feel free to PM me if you need any help.

Steven

Steven, merci beacoup. I'll check it out, maybe make a couple test runs to make sure everything is on the up and up.

Don't want no chance of malfeasance or number drawing fraud.

Thank you.

Mr.B, check your paypal.

Thank you, you are correct in that I'd rather give the money to the kami's than myself, and if I kept it that would be like sales and I don't think I'm allowed to be a salesman since I'm not a knifemaker, leather bender, or doctor of voodoo only a lowly Gold Member. But I thank you a lot.

Did your knife get there yet?

Ok, ladies and gentlemen and Pugs and Mopar too, I just reread Bookies (aka Steves) rules again and see that we have only 5 days to get in on the fine bayonet raffle.
Times a wastin so don't dally and dig deep.
Come the 15th I'll play with Stevens random number selector and hope I can figure it out. I'll actually try to find time to try a few test runs before then so when I do the real thing I won't mess nobody up.

Have a pleasant day and a better tomorrow.

Rat calling Bawanna. Rat calling Bawanna. Come in, Bawanna, over. 10-4 on the raffle. The 15th is coming around pretty soon. It certainly is a nice bayonet fit fir someone's collection. I know it will make someone happy. Rat out. Over.

Ok we'll dispense with the Rat for radio calls, you've done your time.

Your once again Tooth 33.

Dang, I was just browsing the IMA site and then I read this thing fits the Gehendra Martini Henry.....................

I like the 1873 if I could be fair sure of getting mostly complete. I ain't near as good at this restoring stuff as the doc. Done quite a bit but nothing in the kind of shape I see on their website on these. Kind of an interesting challenge though.
