Kanchhi Special for Tuesday evening

You're going to like that '43, Moonw and welcome to the shark tank. There are some good folk here and the moderators are fair. Please be advised: Shavru was correct about the dreaded HIKV disease. it just creeps up on one so unexpectedly. I stopped in for a chat and to obtain ONE measley khukuri. The next month saw me slavering at the mouth, howling at the Moon (no pun intended) and throwing vast quantities of green backs towards Reno for yet another khukuri and then another and then another. Alas, there is no cure. There is weekly meetings held at Bawanna's house on Friday nights at 6 PM. It's open to all HIKV sufferers at no cost. So here's your open invitation to join Kuks Anonymous. We're here when you need us!

Excellent :). I think I can already relate to what you are talking about.

And LOL @ Kuks Anonymous...anyone tried the 12 steps yet? :)

Can't wait for my M43 to come in (may be a month yet) it's a bit on the heavy side so I'll write up a review of mine and compare notes with moonw when he writes his :D

I only wanted one also...I now own 4 with 2 on their way :/ it definitely creeps up on you :D

Jus B careful breaking the news to your missus that you may buy more :)

Forever yours,
B. Stevenson

The first time I mentioned getting one, once I managed to convince her, she told me I should buy two. Sadly, she was joking.

Then, I mentioned yesterday about getting another one. Good thing is, I didn't get "the mean eye". Bad thing is, she thought it was quite a good joke.

On the plus side once you get a dozen or so your good as long as you get to the mailbox or front porch first.

They can't tell the difference between em much so when you walk in with a shiny new blade and they confront you, you can give them the old, oh, this old thing, had it for years. Took it to work for show and tell.

Same works with guns. BUT, if your late one time to the mail box or front porch, it's all over for you mate. Bad news for bonzo! I usually have auntie send em to work, then I can go stealth and slip em into the house when its safe, if there really is a safe time.

It should be clear by now that Kuks Anonymous is all about feeding the addiction. :D

Congrats and welcome to the forum:)
I have a ton of HI khuks, and that 15" m43 is a gem. I am super jealous my friend:)

If you can receive your blade in Chicago, I don't really think that you'll have much issue. I wouldn't take it out and swing it around, but I think from a legal stand point you should be fine. I don't think I could wait two months for an HI blade knowing that I was 3-4 days from having one shipped to me;)

Good luck and welcome once again:)

Don't know how I missed this warm welcome. Thanks! :)

Yes, I won't risk chopping anything there, but I'll deff. open up the package and play with it - in secrecy.

Haha, you guys are killing me! So much wisdom on this forum...experience shows :).

Not so sure if it's wisdom or just survival mind set. Survival of the sneakiest as it were.

buy her a stylish small knife for the ladies, ply her with magical steel!

That works till she start absconding your blades:D They can get HIKV to ya know. I think my wife has some antibodies built up but shes not immune yet.

Bawanna thats a brilliant idea! I could stuff my new Khuks in with the groceries when I get home and slip it into my collection. If I find one in the refrigerator with the beer i know im in trouble:eek:
