Karda... banned?!

So our good friend Karda has apparently been banned from bladeforums. There is a thread in the tech support forum where the supermods will usually leave a post upon banning someone, but in this case I see nothing. This really isn't the proper forum for discussing that so I will leave my own personal opinion of the situation out of it.

Karda contacted me to let me know I was chosen as the custodian of the H.I. medallion for this year. He apologized for taking so long, but we all know how life can get in the way of things and I'm sure nobody here would hold it against him. Once I have it in hand I will revive the medallion passaround thread.

Anyways, I just wanted to start this thread as a place for us to send our smoke, prayers, and good luck wishes for Karda. He's been a great asset to Aunt Yangdu and the HI forum for a long time, and a good friend to many of us here.

Good luck to you Karda, wherever you may find yourself. Keep fighting the good fight, and keep your spirits up! You will always have good friends here and though you may not be posting any more, I like to think you will still be with us in spirit. We will all chip in to help Auntie keep this place running smoothly, and to keep Uncle Bill's vision for H.I. alive.
 
Smoke and good wishes sent. I will raise a big glass for him today.

I don't know what has arisen, but I sense a disturbance in the Force. Karda was a "fixture" and will be missed. Blessings to you, Karda.

Shocking about Karda. I guess a guys buttons can be pushed only for so long.
I hope he recovers and comes back.
In any case I'll remember him as the cool and nice guy he was here in my favourite corner of BF.

This is a shame ~~ why do one of the good "Guy's" always happen to go first ?? Take care Karda & keep your chin

Karda's work and passion for HI has been second to none, and he will be sorly missed on this board. Best of luck to you, friend.
 
While Karda was nice and gracious around here, he did have a tendency to rub people off the wrong way, and a little research might open eyes as to why some didn't like him and even decided to pass on HI products because of this very reason.

Nevertheless, it is shocking indeed and I wish him all the best.

He was on a downward spiral for some time, first losing his supermod status, then his mod status, then getting infractions. I hope his absence gives him some perspective. He should have enjoyed this forum and kept away from areas where he knew there would be trouble for all concerned. He didn't love you guys enough to do that.
 
There's two sides to every coin. I don't know what all culminated in his dismissal. However, I did witness the aforementioned exchange and could probably recreate it verbatim, right down the the point where it all suddenly disappeared but, it's not my place. I have my opinions as obviously many others do. However, if I don't have anything good to say, I won't say them at all. I've found this to be a good approach to life and it's done well by me just like treating others the way you wish to be treated but hey, that's just me. Karda never did anything to offend me and he always went out of his way to help others. He was strict on the rules and stuck to his guns, unwavering under fire. These are just some of the things I admired him for. Sadly, I did not get to know him better during the short time I've been here.

Well said. For a long time Karda was liked and respected throughout ALL the BF forums, but he changed. If the old and true version of Karda comes back, I'd extend my hand in friendship. I'm though here, fellas. I know many of you liked him, and I respect that.

I hope you don't mean me. I haven't been negative, Philll. You start a thread, everyone is entitled to speak respectfully, which I hope I've done.
