Karda... banned?!

You're good Chief! The guy who decided to make his first ever post in either of the H.I. forums in this thread... not so much. I just don't want this to turn into a Bash-Karda-Fest. There are plenty of other places for that if one feels so inclined.

Thanks for the info and for starting the thread Phil :)

Philll, this forum is a haven of quiet, respectability, and mutual friendship among like minded men and women. But you do know certain folks from this forum have, uninvited, chosen to invoke the opposite of those values on certain other forums. I suggest this should end. If I enter your forum I will do so respectfully, and visa versa. Of course, you know the other forum is a bit more rough and tumble, so give as you receive is a fair rule.:)

If it does, let a forum mod know or simply report the post and someone will jump in to help do any clean up.

I am stunned by this news. Something very VERY serious must have just pushed every button Karda had and then some to get him to do something ban-able. Karda was always the voice of reason and the one who always kept discourse civil. And the way he did it was always simple to the point and polite.

He shall be missed. yet I hope that he is now able to focus on finding some relief from the health issues he has been dealing with as long as I have known him.
Best wishes my friend!

That is not going to happen, as Jason mentioned let us know if something does give that impression.

This is really too bad. He devoted a lot of time and energy to this place.

There are certain forums here where if you go in you should know its just going to be a goat rodeo and if you get worked up by trolls you'll be sucked into it.

I agree with Phil. Karda performed his duties to HI with the utmost passion. As far as this board is concerned, we have lost a valuable asset both in terms of knowledge and tenacity.
The unfortunate situations that led to Karda's infraction have nothing to do with HI, the board, or our regular collective.

If anyone has any comments on Karda's actions outside of the HI forum, I suggest you take them to other parts of the board. Karda has done too much for Yangdu, Pala, and HI as a whole to deserve any parting shots here. My tolerance for such things will be short and my patience thin.

I didn't always agree with Karda, and that's ok. I never questioned his drive and passion for trying to better BFC. I don't believe his interactions with other subforums did him much good in the long run, but that has nothing to do with HI.

In short, this will not be a bashing thread, and I don't believe every post in this thread that isn't rosy rainbows is "bashing" or an attack. Karda was pretty thick skinned and could take a criticism. I simply ask that you respect Phil's wishes and keep this thread positive.
I
HI has lost a valuable friend.

Sad news! Karda helped HI, Kamis
blade forum community the best he can. We thank you for your service and friendship.

I haven't been on the forum long, but he helped me out a lot! He's one of the people that made this one of the most welcoming forums I have eve had the pleasure to be on.

.. is that Frankincense burning in there? ..
You're right LaRue, locally in the east when we talk about smoke that means smoke from burned frankincense. Frankincense is burned either for an aromatherapy or as a catalyst to accelerates the transformation of one spiritual senses. That's the little I know about it's usage :o

Thats really interesting Mohd!
I have been reading my two little boys a book called "The Immortal Nicholas" by Glen Beck and in it the main character harvests it from trees that grow on the side of mountains.
Now I have a visual to show my boys what it really looks like.
