Karg Knives (handle The Sun)

I'm still waiting on my refund, a couple years now.

Really sucks. I have a few other projects that I'd like to fund right now, but I'm out an Emerson and the money paid in modifications. Could have been better spent today, in hindsight. Didn't you lose a Strider to him, or something of that sort?

Sent him an email, odds are nothing's going to come out of it.

Anyone here have any recent dealings with this guy? It's the new year and he hasn't responded to any of my communications. Haven't seen any updates on the other forums where he's caused trouble.

He did some work for me a couple of years ago when he was here on the forums. It was decent, but not impressive. I will have to say that he charged me very little for the work he did. He posted pics up of the knife shortly after he finished it. I got it back a month later after many emails and replys of " I mailed it out today". There was some claim of sickness then also. I decided I would look to others for my custom needs. I would respectfully suggest others do the same. He may be a great guy with a run of bad luck, but its not worth the time and trouble in my book.

If your out money or blades, I would seek legal action. Its one thing to wait a month. Its a whole other thing to wait months/years.

Being out of country seems to put me SOL on the legal action front, as far as I can tell.

If this took place through the mail, you could possibily look into it from that angle? Mail fraud? I wish I could be some help. I dont quite understand this guys deal. He could have a decent side business doing work for folks, but he chooses to screw it up with lack of communication and lies. Like I stated, I wasnt very impressed with his work. The pictures he posted looked great, but the product once in hand was somewhat lacking. He was very nice and very apologetic every time we spoke, but I decided enough was enough. I told him that if I didnt have my knife back by a certain date, I was filing a paypal claim ( how I paid for his service) and a claim through the USPS for mail fraud. I knew I could file the PP claim, but had no clue about filing one with the postal service. It must have worked as I got a tracking number the next day.

Is there anyone on facebook who can help out? I quit that site ages ago, but Jeff's FB profile is still visible and I think I've located one of his relatives in his friends list. I'm not looking to drag them into this, but I just need someone to politely send him a message asking for Jeff's current contact information. No need to dig deep into this. Shoot me an email and I'll get you the details.

As of now, as usual, no success with Jeff. I can confirm that he has disconnected his phone, while another individual dealing with him reported the same. I was also told someone sent him a letter, and it was returned. Seems that he's fallen off the map. He started a forum on his website to resolve order issues. It's been there since October and he's made zero posts on it.

Last text I got from Jeff was at the end of October.
