KC pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo of the Hell Razor I purchased.

I went to the show to buy this knife and came home with it. The raffle at the beginning of the show was a great idea.

There were 12 people at the show.

Man that looks sweet! Congrats!

Really? only 12? Is that a light crowd?

Oh come now, I'm not sure why you guys got offended, it's pretty common practice in the knife world, I've just never seen the joy in it. I'll just wait until Busse does another run of HRs, or maybe they won't, all part of the fun.

We weren't offended. You were the one who seemed offended; by exaggerating the resale premium and calling it gouging.

The Terror Monkey Hell Razors were just under $300 each on the table.

There were approx. 30 of them at the show split between 3 or 4 buyers.

My Hell Razor was $362 with the paint job.

The Hell Razor is a great knife.

This version doesn't have pronounced CBT corrugations.

Point taken. For a forum where SO OFTEN it is stated that Hogs help out fellow Hogs, it just struck ME that the first Hog is certainly helping himself in a BIG way before helping out his fellow Hogs.;)

I know that when guys have asked me to proxy for them at Blade, they pay EXACTLY what I pay plus shipping to them. And yes, I know, the KC sales weren't proxies for the most part! I HAVE sold a few blades that I marked up, mainly because I orederd extras for guys who either changed their minds or bought elsewhere. I even took a $619.00 hit for a knife that I proxied for someone else, and later found out that I bought the WRONG handled knife; I considered it my mistake so bit the bullet.

Anyway, it is what it is, good or bad.

Z51, congratulations on your purchase, and I hope you get MANY years of pleasure using it.;)

Starting to wish I hadn't posted the pics with the prices visible. I didn't realize that it would start the sh** storm that it did. :(

Everyone knows what these knives go for from the company anyway, it's not like it's a secret. It's likely that my initial comment is to blame for this whole discussion, I just wanted to say that I'd like to see a HR from Busse again.

thank you for posting the prices. it eases my mind when trying to trade for a show knife.

Thank you for posting the pics bobby. You definitely did not start any issue here, just sharing your experience, which those of us that can't make the shows appreciate. As for the aftermarket prices, as someone already said, they are what they are and you either pay them or you don't. Now if only I were a true capitalist, I'd attend the show, buy up everything in sight, and undercut everyone on the exchange by 5% :).

. I thought most folks go to KC to shoot guns and SPEND money...not to stomp the trough in hopes to cover expenses.

I have been to the Fall knob creek several times. I can't afford to shoot there...I just watch and buy knives.

I am very glad I was able to purchase an SOB on the exchange, and though my eyes widened a bit after the fact when I saw the show price, I have
NO REGRETS! - and still feel fortunate to have obtained one. The SHBA was one of the knives that caught my attention and turned me on to Busse. Sublime. I couldn't really afford an SHBA on the exchange and have been fervently hoping and wishing for an ASHBA to appear on the Shop site. If I did not score an SOB now, and the ASHBA and/or SOB never appeared as a regular offering, I expect I would have spent years kicking myself in the ass for whining about the markup and refraining. The way I see it, my seller saved me about $300!!! (approx difference between marked up SOB and an SHBA). Hell, I am grateful!!!! Thank you kindly, Sir!
