Hey guys I thought there was no more tigerhide? Everytime I asked the custom shop the answer was No! what gives, is it only for select show blades?

The do use tiger hide occasionally, you might be thinking of snakeskin micarta? Tiger Hide is generally only on Custom pieces at this point though via various shows.

I bought 1 satin with black canvas active duty and one satin with tigerhide ash... But just found who has 2 more of the tigerhide ashs and will have them now too lol!!
I also proxied the satin HOFSH with the swedge for someone, talk about a cool knife!! It was a good show overall. Really good seeing everyone again.

Congrats on the AD... I love my BAD in satin & black canvas with red liners!!

They are both linen/canvas micarta.
Linen and canvas = same think
ASH is Tigerhide.
AD is Black,
both linen/canvas micarta

Linen micarta has a much finer weave in the fabric than canvas...
You can tell the difference.

True, but they have a different look.

IIRC... Snakeskin micarta was made up of varying colors of canvas, linen, and paper layers.
