A guy named Jonathan Baker AKA KeeboManiac has disappeared from all social media accounts he holds after I paid him $600 for an Evo 3 on the 18th of last week. The deal took place on Reddit Knife Swap but he also holds a Gold Member account here on BladeForums. He had a 134 logged trades in knifeswap so I stupidly paid friends and family. He picked that day to take the money and run apparently, either that or something happened to him. Either way I'm out the funds. Here is the link to his BF account... I have initiated contact to all his social media accounts and all have been ignored. He was suspended by Reddit the day after I made the deal with him and he attempted to make a second account according to the mods which was also banned. https://www.bladeforums.com/members/keebomaniac.625174/

Usually people post proof of what happened here. Think of this place as like a little courtroom. If you just say “he’s a thief!” most people just shrug and move on. But if you post receipts.. evidence.. then you’ll stir up the masses.

Thats exactly right... He says since he cant sell anything he cant refund me.... Claims the knife was sent but got the address wrong and returned to sender... It was the dumbest conversation ever... Finally he asked for my paypal address which he already had since I paid him with it, then he disappeared again.
 
Yeah thanks for the salt in the wound bro appreciate that... The guy had a 7 year history on knife swap with 134 trades... Anybody would have used F&F to pay him...
 
Well thats the first time I’ve seen someone talk about “killing themself” because their Reddit account was banned. This dude is not playing with a full deck. I wouldn’t keep high hopes that he’s going to refund you.

Sounds to me like he moved that money into other goodies the second you sent it. Living “paycheck to paycheck” sort of thing we’ve seen before.
 
Does it really matter it didn't happen here? The point of this post is to prevent BF members from getting scammed by him in the future, because he does have an account here in case that wasn't clear. Jesus man, have a coke and smile.
