Even if the refund takes a couple days to clear, paypal will send the notification out immediately. Then they send the refunder another to say that it's complete. So PI2DMP has yet to act of giving the promised refund, as has already been stated. Not good.
Just to clarify, this is correct, the refund has not yet been processed, the account was $300 into the negative after his opening the Paypal case and the funds being removed and held. I had the option of adding funds from my bank account to my PayPal account personally, then refunding the entire amount, or processing a refund as an E check which would go through immediately but then take 4-5 business days for him to have funds available. I elected to go with option one as it is quicker to have funds transferred into my account. I also instructed him to escalate the case to possibly get it resolved and refunded quicker that way. It is unfortunate and it is on me with the slow ship that it has come to this, however he will certainly receive his refund and I believe he is up-to-date with this having spoken with him on the phone for quite a while.
