Keith Johnson Knives

Great work Mr. Johnson. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next. That canvas micarta sure will look good on a sod buster.

Here's a new one from Mr. Johnson. It's a 3-1/4" Lanny's Clip. It's half an inch smaller than the usual Lanny's Clip with an 1/8" CPM 154 blade & spring, stag scales, integral bolsters, and a blade pivot bushing. Sweet package if you ask me. I keep wishing I would have thought of this on mine. :)

I'd really like to see that mini-Lanny's next to something like a Peanut, or Sway Back Jack, or even a 3.5" Trapper to give it some scale.
Hard to get my head around a 3 1/4" Lanny's Clip.

That's a real nice looking little LC. At 3 1/4" that would be a sweet EDC.

Flymon, that knife is on the way to me right now. If USPS gets their act together I'll have it thurs. I'll post some comparison pics as soon as it arrives!

Cool. I can't wait to see the comparison between Keith's smaller version and a full size Lanny's. I have a full size from Keith, but also a junior version done by Brent Cramer,
which is slightly smaller than Keith's.

Great looking' piece,

Jeff

The bottom LC will be 4", the one above it will be 2 7/8", peanut sized. :D

WOW! Thats incredible.

Keith,

Can't wait to see that 2-7/8" Lanny's. What's the handle material you are using, and a bushing?

Take care, Jeff

Just picked this 3 1/4" Lanny's Clip up at the post office this morning! Keith really hit it out of the park with this one. The fit and finish of this knife is outstanding. I think the 3 1/4" is a perfect EDC size. This is probable the sharpest knife I own. I'm talking laserbeam sharp! His attention to detail and craftsmanship is fantastic. This was my first custom traditional. He has set the bar very high with this one. Thank you Keith for making an outstanding knife!

Man, that's an amazing looking knife. Just like you, my first custom was from Mr. Johnson and happened to be his very first Lanny's Clip. I think you and I got in at the right time. With Keith's quality and attention to detail it's not going to be long before we standing in a year + long line to order a knife from him. Since we both have "KR Johnson firsts" maybe he'll give us a line pass?

Very nice! Still looks stout even in the smaller size.
And a Peanut size to follow from Keith, should be interesting.

Great work Mr. Johnson. Cant wait to see that peanut Lanny's finished as well as those two on the top. I love the in progress photos.

Keith,

I love the smaller Lanny's, can't wait to see them done. The 2-7/8" is sooooooo cute!

Outstanding work! The swayback is fantastic! I can't wait to see the Lanny's clip trio finished.
