Keith Johnson Knives

Keith is putting this in the mail for me today.

Texas Jack 3 5/8" based on a pattern Tony Bose gave him.

Beautiful knife Rob. I was on the phone with Keith the other day and he was saying he was working on your knife. Beautiful covers on this one.

Thanks guys!

It got delivered to my office Friday, but I was out of town and didn't get to see it until today.

It is exactly what I wanted and it went straight in my pocket!

I wondered if Keith had finished this piece and now I know. His work is exemplary, perfectly centered blades,
super tight spine and great grinds, all add up to a superior custom knife.

That's a beauty, Rob! I love the Micarta with that shield.

This is awesome, love the design and fit and finish. Gorgeous.

Can't wait for my number to come up.

Just went through this thread twice in the past couple of days and his work is exquisite. Loved looking at all the knives you guys post, especially those white westinghouse covers, so sharp!!!

Don't actually have this in hand yet but it's in the mail. I thought I would post the image
sent by the Leather Craftsman Mike "Doc" Barranti. His place of business is located in Pittsburgh
PA. He did a great job. The sheath was made for my Keith Johnson Remington 1303 lock back.
As soon as the knife and sheath return home, I'll take some photos of my own and post the new
images.

I just got this in today. I have to admit, I was skeptical when I was offered a "peanut" Lanny's Clip, but dudes... This is the coolest knife, it's a super useful size, and the fit and finish is exactly what you'd expect from out man Keith. I've already had a leather slip made for it, and plan on putting a lot of miles on this sucker over the next few months.

I recently bought this K.R. Johnson Lanny's Clip from a fellow forum member.
While searching online for more info I found the original picture that Mr. Johnson took when he made the knife in 2012. I think the difference 4 years of use has made to the stag scales is pretty interesting.

The top picture is one I took this week. The bottom is the original picture.

Fantastic pickup Aaron, I agree. When you first showed me the peanut my first impression was just "wow."

Glad you got your first custom Dirk, it sure is a beauty. Some of the finest pocket worn and well loved covers there are to offer. That vanilla yellow tinge is priceless.
