Keith Johnson Knives

Great knife! Thanks for posting it.

I just received this Remington LockBack 1303 from Keith, there are several items on this piece that aren't true
to the original. Those items are the swedge and full height grind on the hollow ground blade, lack of bullet shield and black linen micarta scales with red liners.

I think Keith did a beautiful rendition within the parameters laid out for him. A craftsman who enhances each and
every aspect building custom folding knives.

That's real nice Jeff Thanks for showing it

Thanks Jeff, I remember Keith saying how much he liked it last time we spoke. Good stuff. I need to figure out a new one for Keith to do as well.

Here's a Lanny's Clip I recently completed for a customer............Lightning Strike CF and CTS-XHP

Keith,

This is SUPER! I LOVE IT, the knife itself, the engraving and the Stag. My only comment is, I would like to see some of the
"bark" removed from the scales near the bolster, but that is something that appeals to my sensibilities and not a criticism
of your rendition. I haven't stopped carrying my 1303 since it arrived at my door step. What was the cost of the engraving
if you don't mind me asking, you can send me an email if you prefer.

Great job, but I am not surprised...
Jeff

Here's my first Gardeners Knife, a pattern shared by Tony Bose. The steel is CTX-XHP, the scales are desert ironwood, it's 4" closed. Made for an order.

Sat and looked at this one awhile. Nice choice on the ironwood. Such a unique pattern. Nice work Keith.

Here is a K.R Johnson that I have owned for a few years. Beautiful WT with jigged bone. Refer to post # 253 and later to see WIP on this knife

I think Keith's knives are the equal to any of the most critically acclaimed traditional knife makers.
He's also a dream to work with and real gentleman.
