Ken Erickson dogleg jack

I love how you bring the pen spring around the end.

I'm thinking the Gigster has one almost like it, already ;)

I gotta agree with Fewpop - the swedges and the nail nick are just perfect.
Someone is going to be very happy!!

Truly exceptional, Ken. Everything about it: the proportions and aesthetics, the fit and finish, and the grinds is outstanding. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Would love another though. Then I could have matching leather belt sheaths made and wear one on the right and the other on the left. . . . .gunslinger style. :D

And best of all: It is going to be sent over the ocean to Sweden :D! I am very happy about that Mr Erickson put me on his list. I will be back when I have got the knife.

Thanks

Everything has been said. Great knife and work. Thanks for posting the pix and sharing your efforts with all of us Ken. :)

Congrats to swe as the new owner.

Congratulations on a super custom. Ken nailed this version. Look forward to your hands on report.

What a great looking knife...that Ebony really looks nice! I am a big fan of the jack style knives....what a great carry for the owner!!

Gig is correct. Someone is going to have their socks knocked off when they get this.

Ken's knives are as well made as any I have run into. I am actually totin' one in pearl today.
(No purse either, but there is nothing else in "it's" pocket. :D).)

I got the knife yesterday and couldn´t be happier with it. The fit and finish is excellent. Everything is exact and symmetricall. Both blades are exactly centered. The contact between the liners and springs is so perfect that it looks like one solid piece of steel and the shield is masterly put in place. The way Ken grinds the blades the way down to a very fine edge is impressive. The result is a scary sharp blade which is easy to touch up on a fine stone.

I really like that Ken makes copies of vintage knives. When you have the knife in the hand you can feel that the design is time proven. The blade material (ATS 34) is modern and the knife is new – but at the same time, in some aspects, 100 years old. The size is perfect for the pocket.

Thanks Ken for the knife!

By the way, I red that Ken started to make knives 2005. It is good news. If I buy the equipment and machines now. I will make perfect multi bladers 2011:D.
