Ken Onion Knives Stolen

I have definitely not forgotten about this. If I ever see someone with one of these knives and confirm that it was stolen by that individual, I'm going to knock his a$$ out.

I have copied the photo as well as made it the background on my PC and LapTop. I am always on ebay eyeing everything regarding knives, I will be on the lookout. I will also look hard and long when at the knife shows coming up here. I am in MI. but I will look any way. That is sad. I hope they can be recovered.

I'll ask again:

Can someone close to this situation tell us who we should call if we have information about this theft? I don't, but "tackling someone and posting on BladeForums for reinforcements" isn't exactly the right way for someone to go about helping the situation.

If someone actually sees one of these knives, what should they do?

There's got to be a specific police department that took the report, even if multiple agencies are working on it...

Look a post #44 for contact information. You could always contact Ken also. He would know all relevant contact info, I'm sure.

Sad to see nothing's been doin'.
I'd like some of those dozen agencies turning sth up in following the trail of this theft. As they should be able to, and is their job, and Ken's best chance of getting some of his beautiful work back.
Because I don't feel it's likely that our keeping a lookout is goin' to find any of those knives.... they're not going to end up on ebay or in a pawnbroker's.
Just too bad.

Nope ,nothing yet . The TSA has interviewed the baggage handlers in Hnl and San fran but not Orange county and they all deny taking anything ,big suprise . still waiting DNA testing on my pistol case and hopefully the red tape will get cut threw soon and TSA can interview Orange county Baggage handlers . FBI is also on the case . wish me luck! and Thanks again for the support . Scott Dog apology accepted !

KO, first, I like your work a lot, you put out really special knives. I buy Kershaw 'cause I can't afford you but maybe someday.... second, I hope you get your knives back, and mint at that. Good luck.

Mr. KO

Dang, those are some good looking knives. Makes me sick to think that some unworthy turd got a hold of them.:( I hope this gets resolved soon. For what it's worth, I just got a S30V Blur the other day. It's a great knife, I can't imagine how awesome one your customs are, but I will someday. Now, where was that number for plasma donation?:D

I am sorry that nothing has come to light regarding the theft of your knives! I hope the DNA testing on your pistol case comes up with the slug ball that stole your stuff! I also hope that that the Orange County bagage handlers gets you so useable info. I am happy to heat that the FBI is on the case. I wish you all the good luck in the world!!

Thanks again guys ! word to the wise .Never use TSA approved locks .Anybody with ill intent can get a key if the want . Only use big heavy super locks and use zip ties also .Carry some extras in your carry on and make it as big a pain in the ass for TSA to get into your bags as possable . Only buy your plane tickets with a credit card that insures against lost or stolen bags and never send everything in one suitcase . Buy extra insurance if you can( you cannot buy collector insurance in Hawaii) . Photograph everything your taking befor you pack, during and after. Be an asshole if you have to if TSA says you cannot lock your suitcase and travel with a handgun everytime you travel with knives if possable.

Ken, i also have a good protection against airport thievery. I rap my suitcases with about 30 wraps of shrinkwrap. Do not forget to place a second role of shrinkwrap in your suitcase before wrapping (for the flight back). It's impossible to open the case without complete cutting and removal of the shrinkwrap. I have used this method to travel to different countries by plane. It's also a good method to prevent the placing of objects (like dope, bombs) in your luggage so you don't inadvertedly become a "mule".
It looks a little crude but it protects the contents and the outside of your luggage.
No way can your luggage open even with VERY rough handling.
I never had problems with customs either.

Wow, recently joined BladeForums, saw this, makes me sick! I hope you get your knives back Ken, they are beautiful and I hope you get them back AFTER the bastard who took them trips, then falls on them.
