Photos Kepharts...They just Work

I have too many knives to ever have to decide. :D Or,it means I do not get out to the woods enough. Been taking my LTW Bushcrafter HC, to practice with before I take the good stuff.

Here's my latest try, a custom order in NitroV with padauk scales, acrylic + G10 spacers and this one has a very subtle leaf shape that I like. Mostly I've use straight wood with little embellishment to stay traditional but the customer saw a Nessmuk of mine done this way and wanted it. It carries the usual features with a convex bevel, lightly convexed to the spine, flared guard etc.21-17 2.jpg21-17 3.jpg21-17 6.jpg21-17 5.jpg

Dang John, that thing is almost to purty to use. I've never seen one like it! You do excellent work. Keep it up!

Curious, What is the middle one?

sorry about the delay, P PDNelson , it is from north river custom knives, a maker in Canada. they post once and awhile in there two available knife sections. Mine was 1095, but a lot of theirs are now L6. Hope that helps. Nice quality but the edge is not too sharp, needs a good sharpening or stropping.

This is my first Kephart (of several) with less than 5" blade (4 1/4") pretty traditional with the convexed spine and expanded scale fronts, just embellished a little with G10 liners and turquoise accents. ETA: Oops 8670 and Bubinga.21-43 2.jpg21-43 3.jpg21-43 4.jpg21-43 7.jpg

Many thanks to our lovely model Tiffany The Cat, who does a great job of sniffing everything I am trying to take pictures of.

154CM and osage orange with micarta pins and tube. Blade is 4.25". OAL is 8.375".
