Glocks of the outdoors. Not referring to any maker at all - but Kepharts are the ugliest model knife I can think of. They may "just work", but a Kephart will never win an award for looks...................
That's a fine looking knife! Little more info if you're inclined would be greatGot this one from another site, 8670 and 5/32 blade, about 3.5 cutting edge. Slabs are a little thin, but it feels good in the hand.

Thanks BE. Sorry I suck at taking pics. The knife is spectacular!David did an amazing job on that one. Glad to see you're still enjoying it.
Holy moly! Do you envy, meeny, miney... when it's time to take one to the woods?
Did you get your ashwinearl off BCUSA forums?
I think they are beautiful. In form and function. Not referring to any maker at all - but Kepharts are the ugliest model knife I can think of. They may "just work", but a Kephart will never win an award for looks...................
I agree. I could care less if they don't win awards for looks. I'm like you eveled, I'm after form and function. What will that award for looks do for you out in God's wild blue yonder?I think they are beautiful. In form and function.
You have Great taste in knives..... I love a Bunch of those!!!the problem is I do not get to the woods, but maybe the backyard. Yes, it came from BCUSA, I want to use it to see how I like the 8670, others have said it is like L6 or like 5160 that has been stepped up a little. I am pleased I found an older JK Kephart, 4th from the left in the first pic.
