Kerry Hampton Knives

I really like the Jersey Swayback pattern. And you know the fit and finish is tip top on that little beauty.

Great work, and thanks for the pics Kerry:thumbup:

Oooo.. I like that Kerry. You've given me an idea. Plagiarism is alive and well in southern Indiana. The problem is that something gets lost in the translation..... Almost all my stuff ends up needing a Prototype stamp... lol!

The bolster really gives it presence, if the knife feels as smooth as it looks then it could be Jersey Cream, rich!

Beautiful knife Kerry. I really like how the handle taper continues down the blade. Looks like the Joisey kid spent too much time on the tanning bed though. :)

Looks like it works but he might have to change his name to Robin. (get it...not Duckman, but Robin...get it :p)

George is the MAN! He makes it look
easy. That "Jersey Swayback" makes it
look easy to cut with. Helluva knife.

George obviously has skill. ;) But I might have suspected that he was carving that bird out of butter if I didn't have a knife that Kerry reground -- it's the sharpest knife that I own.

JIC anyone is wondering what KHam is up to, I am working on my first 4.5" Panama Trapper. The grinds on the clip blade are a lot of fun...not...but necessary if you want to keep the integrity of what Tony had in mind for the pattern. It's basically the BackPocket clip with a hinky saber grind. Anywho, here are some interim shots from last night after I got the liners profiled and pivot area milled.

The feller getting this wants "the gnarliest stag you can find". Well, I will do the best I can with what I have to work with but there will be stag, oh yes...there WILL be stag. :D

Kerry,

I love the WIP photos. They bring all the details into focus along with the detail work it takes to make such a useful and beautiful product!

I am sure the stag (my favorite) will be gritty and great. Looking forward to the "Blade", see you in June.

Jeff
