What is a knife pick?

It's a blade opening tool. Back in the day, the old knife companys used to make these things for people that either had bad finger nails or didn't want to chance breaking a nail while opening their folding knife. It fits nicely into the nail nick on the blade, stick it in there and pinch the top of the blade with the knife pick in place and pull the blade open. It works!

I think Id like one of those with mine if I dont end up getting a Knutbuster.. When its my turn, that is.. ;)

# 9 ? Lucky guy....

The sodbuster is one of my fav knives , some day I will have a custom version of it.
Very nice score and nicely done Mr. Hampton !

...Kerry,would you say that this "KHnutbuster" is you signature knife or,something like that ?...

Yep, something like that. I saw that the sodbuster and sodbuster Jr. was a popular pattern but I never really liked the handle. I kept the blade size and shape of the Jr. and made the handle wider so that it would hide the run-up(sunk joint) and extended the handle enough that I could get that exposed back pin hidden within the spring. It wasn't a sodbuster any more so I had to call it something, right?

Sometimes you feel like a Khnut :D

And one other thing...I would be remiss if I didn't mention the obvious T.Bose influence on my sodbuster makeover. That blade is just plain NEKKID WITHOUT A SEXY SWEDGE so that's what I'm talkin bout right there.:p

I received these two cool ivory golf tools in the mail from Kerry recently. I realize Kerry, Reese and Tony have to kick chunks of ivory aside whenever they make their way across the shop to the grinder, but these two pieces of ivory are very nice.

Thanks Kerry. The Force is strong in Young KnifeHead!

Now if I could only golf…

Uh, I can probably use them to keep my stogie from burnin' my fingertips, but also to fix divots in greens from when the balls land too hard.

Off to wash my balls.
