Kerry Hampton Knives

Do you have the weight of this one?

Thanks for the positive vibes folks.

Ken, I weighed it just a bit ago on science room scales here in the school building where my office is and it was 69 grams....2.4 oz.

How can a workhorse only weigh 2.4 oz.? Wow. You nailed that one my friend.

This is the second saddlehorn for me and this is my first completed knife with a semi-skinner blade. This 4 1/4" size saddlehorn pattern feels just right in the hand. Pull is about medium on this pinchable blade. I think the saddlehorn is just about the perfect handle shape for a semi-skinner blade.

Ivory sure is hard work but the extra effort pays off. :D Blade is CPM-440v. I extended the handle/spring slightly so that I could add a dead pin in the butt for hiddlen lanyard attachment.

Very nice touch with the hidden lanyard pin, I do like that. Makes it easy to pull out of a pouch carry. Congrats Kerry, another beauty.

Wow that's a big, beautiful knife! Great work!

Kerry, I sent you a PM. I'd love to see the knife but for some reason I can't figure out, your images are blocked. (I've checked hosts file and ip block list.)

To surpass the master is to repay the debt. That's some awesome knife, Kerry. Congratulations.
