Kerry Hampton Knives

That's my first 3 1/4" Swayback and first ivory folder. Way to watch, Vince!
Glad y'all like it. Gus will know if he really likes it when it hits the bottom of his pocket. ;)

btw....No James Todd ivory was harmed in the making of this knife :D
You had me going there for a while buddy. Great Job. Now you owe me a laptop, I have drooled at seeing Gus's, shorting out my keyboard. Had to go to a tower unit after the smoke cleared. Can't wait until the snow comes to Bama. :D

Vince, you must be the Official Hampton Cutlery Chronicler!

That is a NUTTAH piece of beautiful BUTTAH! So Gus....where is it that you live? (Ha, Ha) Nice score by the way!! The knife looks great Kerry....good job!!

Just to clear thing up in case there is any confusion.

This was made for someone else who ran into some $ problems.

Kerry gave me a chance at it. I had asked him for one a while back and said that pattern/material did not matter. (Just wanted a KH creation and this'll do quite well. ;))

No confusion here, I will wait until the snow falls in Alabama, summer, fall or winter. His knives are well worth the wait. You are one lucky fella Gus, first at Blade then this one.
Congrats to Both of You,:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
A truly great score.
Jim

Since it's getting pretty deep in here, I just thought I'd throw out this idea for those who may feel the need to don a pair...

Ok...so I'm showing Gus's little swayback to the Old Dog last night because I wasn't happy with some scratches on the bolsters and he says, "You got some scratches in this ivory you need to get out". SOoooo...I backed up to 1500 grit and went clear up to SHINEY on the whole magilla! This knife is looking much better than the pics and is going South for the winter. :)

Those are sweet, George. I'll bet they fill the bill. (No duck pun intended. ;))

That is some serious knivin' goin' on!! I'd be proud to whittle my THUMB:eek: with those babies!!:D

Nice George. Can't wait to see what you carve with it. Lee said you're working on a special duck carving for him.

Good job Kerry.
