• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Kershaw and Gerber both suck?

Well here's another example...how popular the Alpha Hunter fixed blade by Buck became.I handled one in a store and thought 'this was obsolete versus some older original Schrade models or the vintage Kershaw hunting knives (the 1030 model is a good example).Lo and behold the Gerber Metolius Series came out and offered a more versatile hunting knife...and it lasted only a handful of years with little popularity.Thankfully they dished out the Myth Series to keep up with that versatility. But even with the Myth line...you hear very little about them.

So you read somewhere that both Gerber and Kershaw suck....did you use your knives and come to that conclusion or simply take someone's word for it? Even though I own more than a few Case knives....I wouldn't suggest you buy any because I read somewhere that they suck.
Thank you. I agree totally with you. Kershaw is actually in my opinion the best. All around there whole lineup every year...year after year just blows the competition away..

I have owned knives from both companies, including products made in the USA and over seas. If you buy USA made products from either company, chances are, the quality will be much much better.
