So... are these out yet or??? Originally, I was thinking they must still be in the "making" stage, but my Google-fu found another website selling them (and showing them in stock, although I didn't call as they are closed already) as well as this:

A link to some guys flickr page with a photo of both cryo's together. Could be photoshopped, but it looks like a real knife and its definitely not the CGI picture of the cryo 2 that's floating around. This is a definite purchase for me, I really hope this means they are filtering out into the world for my approval.

I looking forward to picking up a Cryo 2 to my EDC rotation. I'm still drooling... that guys Flickr album has some amazing picks of the ZT0888 and the ZT0600.

Well,

Since we're all putting in our wish list for the yet to be developed Cryo III,

How about a partially serrated bladed version?

I know partially serrated blades aren't the most popular around here, but I like and use them.

The only thing I would like to see on the Cryo II that the Cryo lacks is a hole drilled for the detent ball, so I can de-assist it. Would be reallllly nice! Otherwise, if it is just a scaled up Cryo exactly, it will be one helluva knife for what (I assume) they will sell for.

IIRC, kneedeep took a portable light box and shot a bunch of product photos while visiting the KAI booth at Blade. That is where those came from and the Cryo II is not out yet.

I am surprised that no one wanted to bump this thread.

Anyone check out the Blade HQ video on the Kershaw/ZT booth at Shot Show? The knife is just a bigger version of the Cryo (we all knew that) but I am kind of disappointed that the handle material looks to be the same as the blade as it is on the Cryo.

I saw those videos yesterday and am excited about the new knives. Definately plan on picking up a few of them. Others are nice, just not my cup of tea. That being said I have put in a preorder for the cryo II. I really like the original, but like others have said, it is a little for small for me. Blade and handle are listed as the same for both knives, at least from where I preordered. The ONLY difference I see listed is are the dimensions.

blade length: 2.75 vs 3.25
overall length: 6.5 vs 7.75
closed length: 3.75 vs 4.5
weight: 4.2 vs 5.38

I just got the new catalog today and the Cryo 2 is one of my wish list items, along with nearly all the new additions.:)

Sorry, I know this thread is a couple of month old...buuuut, Im just kinda excited because I just pre-ordered my Cryo II through Bladehq:D

GPK is estimating 1st quarter. I highly doubt that. Hopefully soon. I pre-ordered one regular and plan on getting the black and stonewashed versions when they come out.
