I have a Cryo that flips with no problems whatsoever, BNIB.
I know these are frowned upon by us veteran knife nuts but, if there is a newbie out there just getting into knives, this would be a great beginner knife indeed.
I would like someone to have it just getting into knives..please.
Send me a message, and its yours ;)
First person to post here (I'll take it) with follow up message to me.

I hope someone who could really use it gets it, the cryo2 is garbage but I've heard the cryo to be much better.

If nobody claims it in a reasonable amount of time, I'll take it with the understanding that it will end up in the pocket of a local boy scout. I would prefer that it stays here for awhile so that a member can claim it, though.

Is that acceptable?

Not to detract from the intent of the thread, but have you considered real SAK's for the scouts? They can be had used but good shape in lots for $5-6 each on average on the Bay. Hard to beat that!

SAK are a great idea. However, I have heard that some scout troops don't allow folding knives unless they lock. Don't know how true this; maybe it's a local policy. Also have heard that fixed blades are a no-go. With all the other changes BSA is doing I would not be surprised at any of this. It all seems counterproductive to me, though.

Our Scoutmaster is new and checking into stuff.

Absolutely it is ;)
I was a Life Scout to lazy to make Eagle :D
You made it up the ladder more than I did. Never went past Cub Scouts. If nothing else the Scoutmaster could use it. His pocket knife is pure garbage. It makes the knife you're offering look like a Sebenza.

I want people here to have the first chance though.

I was Troop 594 before it went 591. They wanted us to change our shoulder patch to 591..a few of us hold outs said the hell with that ;)
