Kershaw Cryo New Orange Scales!

Thanks again guys!
REALLY FEELING THE LOVE!
Feel free to email if you have any questions or need a walk thru

I still have a few things I want to do to it.....
I would really love to turn this into a true flipper. I may drill out the blade so the detent ball has a place to cradle.
I'll also be putting a 30 deg polished edge on it... Just to dress it up a bit.

That's really cool man although I don't think the detent is great on the Cryo without the torsion bar.

That looks awesome, love the matching paracord too.

I may drill out the blade so the detent ball has a place to cradle.

Yeah, do it! I wish Kershaw would make speedsafe an option whenever possible. It's ingenious, but it is also a beginner feature, IMO.

Good work brother! I'm gonna hold off on the Cryo until the bigger version comes out.

can you make a video of how well the knife opens without the assisted spring, i have mine coming in the mail and i might be interested in doing that as well.

Already done.

dcmartin,

That is amazing work.

You know the guys from Germany make over $100 for a set of G 10 Griptilian scales.

One of yours would easily be worth $50 or more.

Would I put a $50 scale on a $30 knife?

Yes, yes I would. I'd prefer black G 10 (hint hint)

Ha, Great minds think alike !
I went the grippy route with an aggressive beadblast and I deilled the blade for the dedent.
The blade stays put now, but not a great flipper(you need a bit of wrist action.
Now I will add a carbide window breaker and mine will be finished ;)
Cheers
James

Ugh... My list of knives to eventually send to tuffthumbz (since I lack the ability to create functional art) is growing.... I really like the orange g-10!! Thanks for posting this! I was thinking of what this would look like the other day, and well you beat me too it! Literally hahaha!
