Welcome to the wonderful world of flippers! Here are some shots to get you thinking!

Personally, if I'm going to purchase another Kershaw knife (I currently own a teal Leek), it's going to be another USA made one, like the s30v Blur or the Camber.

I picked up a Cryo a while back with some extra Cabela's bucks I had. For the price it's a great knife. Not a fan of the thumb studs on the Cryo though. They will take the skin off your thumb, stick to the flipper.

Kershaw makes plenty of Speedsafe assisted opening knives, but they are also introducing KVT in some of their value models. It's really a trial and error process. Sometimes you find what works for you right away, other times you may have to go through various models. Hell, you might find that you don't like flippers at all. That's where the fun of this hobby really comes into play haha.

The thumbstuds are worthless inmho and it is a little slick and heavy for it's size, but overall I like my Cryo.

Sorry haven't gotten to post yet but I got mine from, and I know, it's almost a sin, but Walmart. I checked it over really good, and I've carried it since Friday, and love it. I even got to start a bonfire with it. Gets really scary sharp too when I hit it with my arkansas stone

The Cryo is a nice Kershaw AO knife. It's a baby Hinderer. A lot of us like small, stout knives, even those with meh steel. Really, as an office ninja, I don't find that the 8Cr13MoV to be a huge disadvantage. It does get really, really sharp, though. And it's a hunk of steel, for those who like some heft in their blades, or on those days when you feel that way.

The Cryo II is a bigger knife. It's still not huge or anything, but it's decent sized. Heavier, though.

The blackwash rocks!

I have a Cryo and it works fine. I'd like to trade my 3.5" N.I.B. Nura for a Cryo II Blackwashed version or something of equal value. The Nura is just to thin for my hands.

I got a cryo as a birthday present, i prefer larger knives so i havent carried it only fondling, i would carry and want to pick up a cryo 2 however.

Got a cryo II ti as a gift. It has never gotten edc time. It is a bit too slick and too heavy. It's nicely designed and very fun to flip open.

I've got the cryo II, the cryo seemed small to me. I thought it was a great knife and carried it for a while. Now I don't really like assisted openers, so I gravitate toward knives with bearing pivots instead. There are a few like the Strobe and Nura in that price range that personally I prefer over the Cryos.

I have a Cryo Ti that I got awhile back . It has become my main EDC I like it so much . I mean , for the price how can you go wrong with a Hinderer design knife ? It looks great , I actually like the heft in hand and don't even notice it when it's in my pocket . It's not a big knife , but it's not too small either . I think the Cryo II would be pretty heavy and (to me) doesn't look quite as good with the milled section of the frame lock on the inside rather than the outside which makes it look more like a Hinderer .
