They made the packrat, leek, scallion, black horse, 1440 chubby and whirlwind in camo for folders that I can remember. They also had a fixed blade called the echo designed by Ken Onion that was a very sweet knife for a great price, you can still find them all over the place too.

The only one in G10 was the packrat but it was a coated smooth G10.

Were they all G-10 camo??? ! have the scallion in camo but its a metal handle which i thought leek was as well? Also wasnt the Whirlwind a plastic like handle???

Northend. I doubt anything they do will effect the image of KAI. They have such a huge customer base I seriously doubt it.
 
I love me some Kershaw knives mostly the USA made ones.......Think what i mean by cheapen brand is i hope they are made for use and not just show. You see alot of stuff these days that has to do with TV shows made cheap and not made to hold up during use. I just hope to see some nice knives made out of good materials that will last. Do we know if this line will be made in China only or USA?

I meant "cheap" as in affordable and utilitarian. I hope they do make some unique knives, rather than Duck Commander regular knives.

(hint hint a speedsafe Buck 110 clone would be cool :D)

Hard as it may be to believe this. I actually had a dream a few weeks ago that I had a titanium speedsafe buck 110. It was absolutely awesome. It had thumbstuds as I remember it.
 
never seen the show, on purpose. guess kershaw sees money, can't say i blame them. funny, i guess, cause i have a beard and i spend lots of time in the swamps....... still not interested in the show......


no worse i guess than the bone collector benchmade stuff. never seen that one either.

i'll stick to products that do what i need them to do, without the not useful marketing labels and extra cost that goes into them. too each their own though.......

Never seen the show. Never will, dumbing down America one show at a time.

Won't be buying one of these dufus knives either.
 
Ah yes, camo hunting knives. Because naturally, if you drop one in the bush while hunting, you don't want to be able to find it. :D

Maybe one of the Robertsons is a lefty who dislikes assists but loves flippers! Wouldn't that be nice?
 
OK, Duck Dynasty was good for a few laughs for a while, but I'm personally getting a little beat down by a DD display everywhere I go.

I'm all for making a buck but these guys are starting to look like the Kardashian's of the swamp. Is there any product they haven't put their name on?
