A Duck Dufus knife! YAY!

Never seen the show. Never will, dumbing down America one show at a time.

Won't be buying one of these dufus knives either.
I agree. I am sick of TV shows with some guy or girl "putting on the act" tying to be annoyingly stupid rednecks! I'd rather see Buck team up with a REAL TV show like the REAL Housewives of Atlanta. :D

Look out mid 2014! I'm going to grow a beard!
You are behind. Quit shaving.

My November beard. I may never again shave.

Used to wear mutton chops a few months each year.

Sadly I lost my favorite hat (in the mutton chop pick above) in the land of the Hindu Kush last year. Got it at the Nantahala Outdoor Center about ten years ago. The one in the beard pick is now my favorite. Only a year old so it ain't yet broken-in. I wear both the hat and this knife daily. Hope they become favorites.

They're marketing/putting their face on all kinds of products. I think they are taking advantage of what the know is a fad. The old strike while the iron is hot.
Yup. You make hay while the sun shines! Can't blame them.

Not a fan of the show, nor would I buy a Duck Dynasty Kershaw. But I have a big beard and enjoy hunting and knives… Duck/Buck commander makes some good calls too, if you guys ever get a chance to use one. It's unfortunate to see these guys going down the same road as the family from Orange County Choppers. But can I honestly say that I wouldn't the same if I had a chance? If you get your 15minutes of fame you might as well cash in while you can.

I've watched the show a few times. Can't say that I'm really a fan, but I have great admiration for anyone who pulls himself up by his own bootstraps and becomes successful. The Robertson family is the quintessential example of living the American dream.

My wife has read all of the books authored by various members of the family and says that they are excellent reads. There is apparently more to them than meets the eye, especially the patriarch, Phil Robertson.

The Duckman have been famous in the hunting community for since the early 80's. Probably before some of you were born. I remember ads in the hunting magazines with them and their duck calls. They also sponsored Benelli shotguns. They did commercials on the cable hunting shows back in the early 90's. Now because of reality shows on cable, they have become popular in mainstream America.

Truth.

My understanding is that the Robertson's were pretty well known in the hunting community before the tv show. I think that Duck/Buck Commander hunting knives would probably have some staying power in the market.

Yea, just a few years ago a friend here in town(central alabama) used to guide with them for ducks and deer. Now, he can't even get them to call him back....

Personally, I'm glad for the Robertson family. They've had their share of hardship, now they're getting to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Since we are no longer discussing the knives, this one is closed.
